Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Rumoured to Sport 7-inch Full HD+ Bezel-Less Display

Xiaomi had released its Mi Max in 2016 and the Mi Max 2 a year later with a few upgraded features. And now rumours have surfaced about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3. The smartphone is rumoured to come with major upgrades to stay on par with the current trends.

A report by a Chinese site CNMO states that Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will sport a 7-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is expected to feature thin bezels on the sides and the top and bottom to make the screen look larger.

The site also leaked a few renders of the phone giving an idea of how it would actually look like. Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core SoC. There are still no proper details about the phone’s RAM and internal storage.

And while all the latest phones come with a dual-camera feature even the Mi Max 3 is rumoured to come with a dual-camera setup. Apart from that, there is no news if the phone will sport a higher resolution sensor along with a depth sensor or a wide-angle lens with a telephoto lens which will allow lossless zoom and DSLR-like bokeh effects.

On the battery front, the news states that the phone might be powered by a huge 5500 mAh battery. Additionally, the phone might support the fast charging feature.

In comparison, Xiaomi Mi Max features a 6.44-inch display and the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sports a 6.44-inch Full HD display. Mi Max 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC along with 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, it comes with a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The phone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and supports connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-SIM and USB Type-C port.
