Vivo mobiles launched its V5 smartphone in India for a price of Rs 17,980. The latest mobile will be available for pre-order from November 16 and will go on until November 25. The first sale of Vivo V5 will commence on November 26.
The USP of the Vivo V5 smartphone is its 20MP selfie camera. The V5 smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 2.5D curved glass. The device is equipped with a 64-bit MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Beside the 20MP front-facing camera, the Vivo V5 offers a 13MP primary rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Vivo’s Funtouch UI 2.6 on top. The handset includes connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.
Gionee mobiles has unveiled its S9 smartphone in China. The smartphone is priced at 2499 Yuan (roughly Rs 24,691) and it will available for purchase from November 25 in China.
The Gionee S9 smartphone features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz along with Mali T860 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
The Gionee S9 offers dual camera setup at the rear panel. The dual camera setup includes a 13MP and 5MP sensors along with a LED flash. On its front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper with LED flash. The smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging feature. On the connectivity front, the Gionee S9 includes dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, GPS, micro USB port, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
Huawei mobiles launched the Mate 9 Pro smartphone in China. The newly launched smartphone is a premium version of Huawei Mate 9 as it flaunts upgraded specifications. The China launch of Huawei Mate 9 Pro was reported by AndroidHeadlines.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) curved AMOLED display. The smartphone is equipped with a 2.5GHz Kirin 960 octa-core processor. It is available in two variants based on storage and RAM- 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage priced at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs 46,500) and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs 52,500).
For photography, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro offers a dual camera setup at the rear panel with a 20MP monochrome and 12MP RGB sensors with Leica lenses. The camera comes with dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, the Mate 9 Pro has an 8MP front-facing camera. The handset is backed with a 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the device includes GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
