The Upcoming HTC Bolt May Run Android 7.0

HTC is reportedly working on an upcoming mobile codenamed as Acadia which was leaked earlier by a reliable leaker, @evleaks. Now, @LooTooFeR has detailed a little more information about the HTC Bolt. According to @LooTooFeR’s tweet, the HTC Bolt smartphone is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS under company’s own Sense 8gp interface.

HTC mobiles haven’t announced the details about the HTC Bolt smartphone yet, but leaks about the smartphone have started surfacing since last month under the codename ‘Acadia’. The smartphone is expected to get released in October with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS in the US market. The leaked images are hinting out the expected release date to be October 18, 2016.

The HTC Bolt smartphone is expected to get a release in Europe, Africa, and Asia as well.  If the rumors are to be believed, the HTC Bolt could be the first HTC smartphone to run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box on it. Some reports are suggesting that HTC will choose Android 7.1 Nougat OS, which will come pre- installed on Google Pixel and Pixel XL devices.

The specifications of the upcoming mobile have not revealed by the company yet. But, the smartphone may inherit many things from the HTC 10. According to a recently leaked image of HTC Bolt, the smartphone will flaunt a metal body with chamfered edges and antenna bars.

The primary rear camera of the device will come with dual LED flash although the laser autofocus will be missing from it. The upcoming mobile is likely to sport a fingerprint scanner at the front panel of the device. Check other latest HTC mobiles here

The smartphone will offer 13MP primary rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The device is expected to be equipped with an octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. The battery of the device is supposed to be a non-removable battery and the capacity details are yet to be received.
