The phone is currently shipping in countries like the US, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, and the other European markets. In India, the phone is presently up for pre-orders and the shipping will begin from September 21 across India. It will come with a price tag of Rs 67,900.

The latest Samsung mobile offers an IRIS scanner feature which is an advanced way of authentication for several functionalities. The new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ (1440×2960 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity Display keeping an 18.5:9 screen ratio. Under the hood, it has an Exynos 8895 SoC with four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The device gets acceleration due to the  6GB LPDDR4 RAM.

For photography, there is a dual rear camera setup on the Galaxy Note 8 with Dual OIS. The dual camera module includes a 12MP wide-angle lens, f/1.7 aperture, and Dual Pixel auto focus alongside the other 12MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture.

By having such camera setup, the device can capture images with depth-of-field (Bokeh) effects at real-time. Apart from this, the camera supports up to 2x optical zoom. Up front, there is an 8MP auto focus sensor with f/1.7 aperture.
