Samsung India has just announced its Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone in India priced at Rs 32,490. The smartphone will be available for sale in India from September 26 in Gold, White and black color options. The newly launched smartphone flaunts a 6-inch display along with the 5000mAh battery.
Coming to the specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro features a massive 6-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The display of Galaxy A9 Pro is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The device is gets the power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with a 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage. The storage of Galaxy A9 Pro is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
The device is based on metal and glass design similar to the other smartphones in its 2016 Galaxy A series. On the camera front, the smartphone has a 16MP primary rear camera with LED flash, optical image stabilization, and f/1.9 aperture. While the front camera sports an 8MP sensor with wide-angle support and aperture at f/1.9. The camera features like HDR, face beatification, and palm selfie is provided herewith.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro was previously launched in China in March this year. The Galaxy A9 Pro is an upgraded version of its predecessor Samsung Galaxy A9. With the ‘Pro’ moniker, the company has upgraded the hardware specification. The Galaxy A9 has featured a 3GB of RAM, a 4000mAh battery, and a 13MP camera. While the new Galaxy A9 Pro offers 4GB of RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 16MP camera.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is a dual-SIM smartphone with connectivity options like 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB 2.0. The sensors on board include a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with the fast charging capabilities and weighs around 210 grams. The smartphone is just 7.9mm thick and flaunts a narrow bezel of 2.7mm.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will be available in retail stores from September 26 in Gold, Black, and White color variants.
