Just a few days back, Reliance Jio had announced the Jio Summer Surprise offer which was later cancelled due to a TRAI order. Though, the company had assured its users that it will come up with exciting new offers. Reliance Jio kept their words and introduced a new offer called Dhan Dhana Dhan which offers around three months of free mobile data and services at a one-time payment of Rs 309.
To avail the new promotional offer, the Jio subscribers having 4G VoLTE mobiles will have to make a recharge of Rs 309 pack which includes unlimited data, SMSs, free voice calling, and Jio app subscription for 28 days. During the promotional period, the users will get additional 56 days (two recharge cycles) of free usage when they perform their first recharge.
Under the Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, the Jio Prime members will be able to use 1GB of data per day on Rs 309 recharge pack and 2GB per day on Rs 509 pack along with the other benefits mentioned earlier.

For those who missed the chance to get Jio Summer Surprise offer still has a chance to get free service benefits with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. But to avail the offer, the users are required to recharge with Rs 99 for Jio Prime membership and perform the preferred recharge of either Rs 309 or Rs 509 before April 15. Else, non-Prime subscribers will have to pay Rs 408 for 1GB per day pack and Rs 608 for 2GB per day plan. Although, the Jio Summer Surprise offer users will not get the first recharge benefit as they are already using free services.
For those who will buy new SIM cards will also have to buy Rs 408 (Rs 99 for Jio Prime + Rs 309 pack) or Rs 608 (Rs 99 + Rs 509) to avail the free services for three billing cycles of 28 days. The tariffs are slightly expensive than the recharge values of Rs 303 and rs 499 during the Summer Surprise offer. Furthermore, the MyJio app mentions that the actual tariff value of the Rs 309 and Rs 509 pack are Rs 349 and Rs 549 and the telco is currently offering a Rs 40 discount.
Rejoice for Reliance Jio Users
Reliance Jio seems to have presented the old wine in a new bottle. The data and other services offerings in the Dhan Dhana Dhan offer resemble with the Jio Summer Surprise offer. The new offer will surely meet the TRAI framework and the other telcos won't be able to urge the regulators to review the offer. However, the other operators are expected to offer competitive tariff packs to deal with Jio's offers.
