Oppo is about to launch new smartphones in India this month. The Chinese OEM has started sending media invites to the launch event of dual front camera smartphone on March 23 in New Delhi. Oppo hasn’t revealed which smartphone is going to be launched during the event. However, the company is likely to release its Oppo F3 and Oppo F3 Plus smartphones or one of them.
The device was lately spotted in promotion pop up ads at one of the retail stores in the Philippines. Apparently, Oppo is ready to release the smartphone officially. The Oppo F3 and Oppo F3 Plus smartphones will be introduced in India for the first time as the phones are not even launched in China.
The information about the specifications and features of the upcoming mobiles is scarce at the moment. However, the Oppo F3 and F3 Plus are surrounded with rumoured specification.
The Oppo F3 is rumoured to boast a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display. The device will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. It will also expect to support external storage via microSD card. The Oppo F3 will run either on Android Nougat OS or Android Marshmallow OS.
Secondly, the Oppo F3 Plus is rumoured to come with a 6-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is expected to be powered by an octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and external storage up to 256GB via microSD card.
For photography, the Oppo F3 Plus will offer dual front camera setup of 16MP + 8MP sensors. Also, it will feature a 16MP primary rear camera with PDAF. The handset will receive its juice from a 4000mAh battery with Super VOOC fast charging technology. On the software front, it will use Android Nougat OS with Color OS 3.0 on top. The device will measure dimensions at 163.63×80.8×7.35mm and weighs 185 grams. Since these are just rumours, the information about these phones might have taken with a grain of salt.
