The revamped version of the iconic Nokia 3310 feature phone is finally here in India. HMD Global, who manufactures and sells Nokia-branded devices has just launched the Nokia 3310 (2017) variant in India. The company has confirmed that the new feature phone will be available from Thursday, May 18, at the best buy price of Rs 3,310 in India.
HMD Global is offering the Nokia 3310 (2017) in four colours in India- Yellow and Warm Red with a gloss finish, whereas the Grey and Dark Blue models will come with a matte finish.
Coming to specifications, the Nokia 3310 (2017) features a 2.4-inch QVGA display. The handset comes with a 1200mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a battery life of up to a month on standby time. Moreover, the maximum talk time you will get on the Nokia 3310 is 22.1 hours. It has a classic numeric keyboard. The design of the latest mobile is quite identical to the original Nokia 3310 feature phone.
The new Nokia 3310 (2017) offers a 16MB onboard storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The feature phone runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS. The handset supports FM Radio and has a built-in MP3 Player along with a 3.5mm audio jack.

For photography, the Nokia 3310 (2017) offers a 2MP camera at the rear panel with LED flash. The device comes with some classic games such as ‘Snake’ pre-loaded on it. It is a dual-SIM mobile with 2G connectivity. The handset measures dimensions at 115.6×51.0x12.8mm and weighs merely 79.6 grams.
HMD Global has marked the beginning of the new journey of Nokia in India with the new Nokia 3310 (2017). The company is expected to release its Android smartphones in India sometime in this year. Nokia’s upcoming product lineup in India includes Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3.
The Nokia 3310 (2017) is believed to be recreated to evoke the nostalgia among the old Nokia fans. On the other hand, the Nokia Android mobiles are likely to focus on the restoration of the same old glory which Nokia once had in the global market.
