LG is reportedly gearing up for the launch event of its LG V30 flagship smartphone. The company sent the media invites earlier this month addressing the camera capabilities of the LG V30 device. Also, another press invite revealed the launch date of the upcoming LG mobile as August 31.
- It will feature FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio
- Will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC
- LG V30 will support Google Daydream VR
In the latest developments, new renders of the alleged smartphone have appeared online that has revealed the design language of the device. Citing the sources, renowned tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks shared the press renders of LG V30 which is in line with the previously leaked images.
The latest press renders are clear and detailed. Based on the images, the phone will feature curves as a part of its design. It will come with FullVision plastic OLED display and flaunt an 18:9 ratio screen with support for Google Daydream.

As per the images, the smartphone looks to come with a metal unibody design and unique antenna band design. On the rear, there will be a dual camera module with LED flash positioned on the right side of the device.
Below the camera module, there is a dedicated fingerprint scanner present on the handset followed by the V30 logo and LG branding. The placement of fingerprint sensor at rear seems sensible as there is no physical home button or capacitive keys on the front panel.
The previous rumours suggested that LG might eliminate the 3.5mm audio jack on the upcoming flagship LG smartphone and surprisingly, the render shared by Blass doesn’t show any headphone jack at all.
Coming to the specifications, the LG V30 will come equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, there is uncertainty whether the company will offer expandable storage option on the V30.
The recent press release of LG mentioned that the company will offer the clearest lens ever incorporated in a smartphone. Moreover, the camera will have the largest aperture count- f/1.6.
LG revealed that the V30 smartphone will come with a glass Crystal Clear lens which will bring more light than the regular plastic lenses.
