The recent leaks suggest that Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, the world’s first Tango smartphone could get launched on November 1. As per a listing on Lenovo’s official website, the upcoming mobile will be made available on November 1. The smartphone was expected to be launched in September, but it missed the schedule.
Lenovo has listed the Phab 2 Pro as Coming Soon on its US website. The website also mentioned the release date of November 1 for its upcoming mobile and it will be priced at $499. The smartphone was firstly introduced during the Tech World event of Lenovo in June this year.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is expected to feature three-camera setup at the rear panel. The primary rear camera will include 16MP sensors that capture depth as well as the motion tracking. There is a front-facing camera on the device. The motion tracking of the upcoming mobile allows to the user in real time and the depth of field recognizes the area which is well-suited for the augmented reality. Moreover, the smartphone can sense the structures in 3D as well as physical spaces to enhance the augmented reality experience.
Coming to the specification, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro flaunts a 6.4-inch quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass. The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. It receives its juice from a 4050mAh battery with fast charging technology. It runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. On the memory front, the device sports a 64GB of internal storage which could receive expansion up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro offers connectivity options such as hybrid dual-SIM, 4G LTE, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. It measures the dimensions at 179.8×88.57×10.7mm and weighs 259 grams. It features the Dolby AudioCapture 5.1 with Dolby Atmos sound output.
In addition, Lenovo moblies has announced that the Phab 2 Pro will come pre-loaded with 25 apps and a special app store will also get released for the Phab 2 Pro smartphone.
