The Indian smartphone maker, Karbonn has launched two new 4G-enabled budget smartphones in India called as the Aura Sleek 4G and the Aura Note 4G. The newly launched Karbonn Aura Sleek 4G is priced at Rs 5,290, whereas the Karbonn Aura Note 4G costs Rs 6,890. The Karbonn Aura Sleek 4G is available in Champagne White, Grey, and Black colour options, while the Aura Note 4G is available in Metallic Champagne, Matt Black colour options with a matte finish.
Coming to the specifications, the Karbonn Aura Note 4G features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and boasts a quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is a dual-SIM mobile and supports microSD card up to 32GB for storage extension.
Karbonn Aura Note 4G offers 5MP cameras at front and rear panel with dual-tone LED flash. It has a dedicated fingerprint scanner on the rear panel below the camera. The device is powered by a 2800mAh battery. It measures dimensions at 154.2×79.8×10.5mm and weighs 174 grams. The sensors on board include an accelerometer, proximity, and light sensor.
On the other hand, the Karbonn Aura Sleek 4G features a 5-inch display with 480×854 pixel resolution. It comes equipped with a 1.1GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and external storage of up to 32GB via microSD card. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
For photography, the Karbonn Aura Sleek 4G has a 5MP primary rear camera with dual LED flash and a 2MP selfie snapper at the front. The device is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Looking at the price and specifications of the Karbonn mobiles, the Aura Note 4G will compete against likes of the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G and Lenovo Vibe K5, whereas the Aura Sleek 4G will face competition from the newly launched Xiaomi Redmi 4A. Talking about the prices of the devices, the Samsung Galaxy J1 4G is priced at Rs 7,200, the Lenovo Vibe K5 is priced at Rs 6,999, and the Xiaomi Redmi 4A is priced at Rs 5,999.
