Intex mobiles has recently launched a budget mobile in its Cloud series, dubbed as the Cloud Q11. The newly launched smartphone is available exclusively at Amazon India priced at Rs 4,699. The Cloud Q11 smartphone is available in Blue and White color options.
One of the key features in Cloud Q11 is its VR functionality in the budget mobiles segment. The Cloud Q11 features a 5.5-inch HD (720×1080 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of ROM and Mali-400MP GPU. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
For photography, the Cloud Q11 offers an 8MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and dual LED flash. The secondary camera includes a 5MP sensor on front panel with a single LED flash. The device gets its power from a 2800mAh Li-ion battery which is claimed to deliver 8 hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby time.
The budget mobile includes Intex’s in-house VAS feature termed as LFTY. With the LFTY feature, the company has stated ‘Experience the New Left’. The left screen provides a flawless consistent mix of multi-category content. When a user swipes from the left edge of the screen, a single screen provides users the access to different content like news, video, shopping, music, social media, weather, and others.
The Cloud Q11 offers 8GB of internal storage space which could be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. The connectivity options on the device include 3G, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0, GPS, Bluetooth, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. The device measures dimensions at 1547×77.2×10.5mm and weighs 170 grams.
Looking at the specification, the Intex Cloud Q11 will compete with budget mobiles such as Alcatel Pixi 4 and Reliance Digital LYF Flame 6 to name a few. The biggest advantage these smartphones have is the 4G VoLTE support which Cloud Q11 has missed.
