HTC has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone dubbed as the HTC U11 at its event in Taiwan. The biggest highlight of the device is its all-new Edge Sense feature which allows users to interact with their smartphone. The pricing of HTC U11 will start at EUR 749 (roughly Rs 53,000) in Europe and $749 (roughly Rs 48,000) in the US. The smartphone is now up for pre-order in these market.
The latest mobile, the HTC U11 will be made available in the global market from this month in Brilliant Black, Solar Red, Amazing Silver, Sapphire Blue, Solar Red, and Ice White colour options. As for specifications, the HTC U11 features a 5.5-inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super LCD display wrapped under Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS with HTC’s Sense UI skin on top. It receives its power from a 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 quad-core processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage options.
In India, only the 6GB RAM variant is expected to come. The HTC U11 has a microSD card slot which let users expand the storage up to 2TB. It is a dual-SIM mobile with nano SIM configuration.
On the camera front, the device has a 12MP primary rear camera with ultra speed autofocus, dual-LED flash, BSI sensor, f/1.7 aperture, OIS, slow-motion, and 4K video recording features. The other features include RAW format support, panorama, face detection, hyper lapse, Pro mode with manual controls, and HDR boost. At the front, it has a 16MP camera with full-HD recording and BSI sensor. The other features on front camera include live make-up, auto selfie, selfie panorama, HDR boost, and voice selfie.
The HTC U11 boasts a 3000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a talk time of up to 24.5 hours, standby time of up to 14 days. The device supports Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology. The connectivity option on the handset comprises Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, and Bluetooth.
