Ever heard of a brand called Doogee? Well, it is a Spain-based smartphone brand which manufactures Android smartphones. The company recently made headlines due to its new product called the Doogee V smartphone. The exceptional thing about the newly launched device is the integration of a fingerprint scanner underneath its display.

Certainly, Doogee V is the world’s first smartphone to come with in-screen fingerprint scanner technology. It is an Android mobile and has a notch on the top of its display similar to the one of Apple iPhone X. Doogee is currently building its presence to the other international markets; so, we might get to see the Doogee V handset in the Indian market too.

Previously, famous tipster, Evan Blass posted a rendered image of the Doogee V smartphone. Blass also claimed the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner on the device. Now, the Spanish tech company has uploaded a teaser video of the upcoming Doogee mobile on its official YouTube channel.

The in-display fingerprint scanner is said to be developed by Synaptics. Further information about the Doogee V handset is expected to be revealed at the CES 2018 event.

As seen in the rendered image, the upcoming Doogee mobile may offer a 6.2-inch display along with the Full HD+ resolution. While in the YouTube video description, the phone is mentioned to have a Flexible Display. However, in what context the term ‘Flexible Display’ is referred to is unclear.

Like mentioned before, the Doogee V is the first smartphone to come with fingerprint scanner beneath its display. Separately, Vivo is said to launch a new smartphone with in-screen fingerprint scanner feature at the upcoming CES 2018 trade show. Moreover, the phone will be called as Vivo X20 Plus.

Doogee has a reputation for replicating features and designs from the popular smartphone brands. And the Doogee V is not an exception to this. The top-notch on the display has been copied from the design of iPhone X; also, its curved edge design is taken from the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Prior to this, when Xiaomi introduced the Mi Mix smartphone in China, Doogee made its own version by copying the design of this phone. It released a few smartphones under Doogee Mix series.
