Dell recently announced the launch of its latest XPS 15 2-in-1 laptop at the ongoing CES in Las Vegas. The company claims that the Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 is the smallest and the most powerful notebook ever.
This latest Dell laptop is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processor with the recently launched Radeon RX Vega M graphics from AMD on the same chip. The company said that due to the graphics, the size of the motherboard had to be reduced by about 50 percent.
The new Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 comes with a Full HD and Infinity Edge 4K UHD display resolution along with a screen that has 100 percent RGB colour gamut. This laptop can deliver up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge and measures up to 16mm in height. XPS 15 2-in-1 also sports Dell’s Active Stylus Pen which can be carried around by clipping it on to the laptop via the built-in magnets.
Furthermore, the laptop features a MagLev keyboard which comes with magnets instead of scissors or rubber dome designs. XPS 15 2-in-1 comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating for protection and features machined aluminium and carbon fibre finishes.
Dell Connect Mobile App
Along with this, Dell has also showcased its new feature called the Dell Mobile Connect. This app is the company’s first PC-smartphone integration app. The app will come pre-installed on all the upcoming Dell laptops, users can download the Dell Mobile Connect app on their mobile phone (Android) to connect the two.
This app will allow users to make and receive calls and messages. Additionally, it will also allow users to be notified of various apps such as Instagram and Facebook. The company believes that this app is a medium to mirror Android screen on your Dell computer. This app will be only available for Android devices and will start making appearances on new Dell laptops from January 2018.
