Asus has come up with a new smartphone in India called the Zenfone Live which is the world’s first smartphone to offer the real-time beautification feature. The new phone is priced at Rs 9,999 and it is a direct competition to other phones in this price bracket such as the Xiaomi Redmi 4 and Lenovo K6 Power. Here’s how the new Asus Zenfone Live will fare against the competitors.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display powered by a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion. It has a 4100mAh battery.

Camera

The biggest highlight of the Asus Zenfone Live is its camera feature. The device offers a 13MP primary rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. On the camera front, all three smartphones have an almost similar rear camera on them, however, Lenovo K6 Power has an 8MP front facing the camera. At the same time, Asus Zenfone Live has its own unique filter and beautification feature which might be useful for vloggers and casual users who always prefer live-streaming on the internet.

Verdict

If anyone wants to look perfect in the live videos, then Asus Zenfone Live is a good option in the budget segment. Apart from that, there is nothing great about the device.

Disappointingly, the Asus Zenfone Live integrates older Snapdragon 410 processor, however, the competitors are offering newer and better SoC on their devices. Also, 2GB of RAM and 2650mAh battery is too less while compared with the other two. Another lacking point in Zenfone Live is a fingerprint scanner.

Among these, the Lenovo K6 Power stands out due to its powerful battery life, memory, and more storage offering. Another option in the budget segment is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which offers better hardware and features.
