Apple iPhone 8 is surely the most awaited smartphone of the year as new leaks and rumours are been dumped online every single day. The upcoming mobile will mark the 10th anniversary of Apple’s iPhone which is expected bring lots of new features and a refreshed design. However, the new improvements will also reflect a steep price tag for sure. The company is expected to release its iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus smartphones along with the iPhone 8 which will be priced relatively low.
The price of Apple iPhone 8 has been in suggested by multiple analysts in the past, however, there is no concrete information has been received from any trusted source as of now. The iPhone 8 has been suggested to be priced over $1000 (roughly Rs 65,000) for the 128GB model. Now, in the latest development, a UBS analyst, Steven Milunovich has predicted the expected price of the upcoming flagship iPhone 8 smartphone. Milunovich mentioned that the base variant of the phone will be priced at a much lower price.

According to a report by Business Insider, the base variant of the Apple iPhone 8 is expected to cost $870 (roughly Rs 56,400). The base variant is likely to start with 64GB storage option, however, the storage detail was not mentioned by Mulunovich. The report also included a variant which is likely to be priced over $1000. The 256GB internal storage variant is likely to come with a price tag of $1070 (roughly Rs 69,400). The company is expected to launch only one variant at the over $1000 price-point.
Besides the pricing, the report also mentioned that the upcoming iPhone 8 will contribute for nearly 45 percent of the sales for the company this year in its iPhone segment, whereas the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus will contribute just a smaller market share.
